Does this lamp work with 12V (transformer needed), or directly with >200V?

Helpful answer

This bulb only works with 12V. If you look at the product, you can read "GU 5.3" in the title. This refers to the socket. GU 5.3 is always 12V and GU 10 is always 230V. So if you don't want a transformer, you can simply take a spot with a GU 10 socket (+separate socket) and connect it directly to 230V.
