You should be more detailed in your question (e.g. the background of a question). Or try to answer it yourself with the instructions for the board https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/E7B85v1.2.pdf
There are 3 RGB headers on the board. With a Y-cable you can also control 2 fans via one connector.
The board already has a newer bios that supports Ryzen 3000. However, I have installed an even newer bios on my board. Everything runs top. Bios version E7B85AMS.1B0
Hello I needed a BIOS update for my mainboard. However, this is not a big deal, as the BIOS of this mainboard can be updated even without a CPU update. You just need a USB piece with the BIOS file on it.
FlareX CL14 Samsung B which has been running at 2400G for a long...
Hello, no, that means it works with Windows 10.
Yes
There's conflicting information out there, however it worked for me out of the box.
Hallo, du kannst den bios selbst installieren wenn nötig. Dies steht in der Spezifikation: „Flash BIOS Button: Simply use a USB key to flash any BIOS within seconds, without installing a CPU, memory or graphics card.„ https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450-GAMING-PRO-CARBON-AC/Overview
Only M.2. You can connect your 2.5 SSD to the MB but not install it.
There are 2 variants: 1) Buy to benefit "only" from more space and ports. 2) Wait for the new generation or switch to the Threadripper. Generally it won't be faster, the board has more than enough connections for fan / RGB. Maybe someone will pay something for the old motherboard... I would say yes

Yes, I have it paired with my Ryzen 3700x.
Yes, it is compatible.
1. yes 2. ...perhaps a bios update still needs to be made!
Yes it did, I don't know exactly how many, but I was able to connect 4 RGB fans without any problems.

According to several YouTube videos, a CPU should also be able to be operated normally without the additional 4-pin connector. On my board I used both connectors because the cable was there....
If you don't want to overclock, it doesn't matter. If you do, I would recommend the more expensive one, as the transistors and voltage converters usually make up the price.
Unfortunately, it does not. You have to download the bios file from MSI's website and use flashback button on the board.
It should work perfectly. In normal operation, you can even get up to 3950X.
I don't know why it shouldn't be compatible... I also have this MoBo, but with a Samsung SSD M2, which is awesome!
The mainboard supports up to DDR4-4200, everything below DDR4 is possible. RAM configuration is mainly dependent on the processor. What processor are you using? I myself have installed folgenses on this board: Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 (4, AM4, 3.20GHz) RAM: G.Skill Aegis (2x, 8GB, DDR4-3000, DIMM 288)
The 144Hz is possible via HDMI and DP but the screen must be the right one as well as the cable. Here is a report about it. https://www.google.com/amp/s/praxistipps.chip.de/144-hz-bei-hdmi-geht-das_51230%3flayout=amp
