Hi, ordered this camera last month, it was 55.90 CHf they delayed it 4 times or more by 5-9 days. Then they set the price to 69.- and made a discount. What is this??? With the discount it is still more expensive than I paid for it.... And why make a discount on a product they are not able to deliver ?

As a rule, the price is then adjusted, so it is best to contact customer service 👍

Is anyone running the camera on a Mac (specifically MacBook Pro)? I do and always get an extremely overexposed image. Half of the face is lost in white. I can't find a setting option. There is also no information about this on the Microsoft website. Does anyone know about this and have a remedy? Many thanks and best regards!

Dear Galaxus, I purchased this item on 13.12.2020, and I still didn't received it. I saw that the delivery date has changed several times in my consumer area, but currently the message is "Expected late April". How can the date presented in this item for purchase today (14.02.2021) suggest dates that are shorter than my (Delivery between Tue 2.3. and Wed 10.3.), since I haven't receive my item yet? How close zooming is possible with the cam? Do you need a special programme or what does it look like? I sit very far away from the screen and am looking for a cam with zoom function for headtraking.

The webcam is supplied without any software. A zoom function is not available. The webcam only has autofocus to focus the image. But e.g. www.cyberlink.com has a software Youcam, which hooks in between the webcam and the video conferencing software and supports up to 4x zoom (with head tracking the zoom is lower). https://www.cyberlink.com/support/faq-content.do?id=11971

1280 * 720 px = 921600 = <1Mpx. Why 5Mpx in the description?

It's just an assumption, but most webcams can only offer a much lower resolution for live video chats than for recordings or even photos. So video chat is limited to 1280x720. And photos go up to 5 Mpx, most likely software-interpolated. For our office meetings more than sufficient, price performance is fully i. O.
