How close zooming is possible with the cam? Do you need a special programme or what does it look like? I sit very far away from the screen and am looking for a cam with zoom function for headtraking.

The webcam is supplied without any software. A zoom function is not available. The webcam only has autofocus to focus the image. But e.g. www.cyberlink.com has a software Youcam, which hooks in between the webcam and the video conferencing software and supports up to 4x zoom (with head tracking the zoom is lower).
