Question about Microsoft LifeCam Cinema

Is anyone running the camera on a Mac (specifically MacBook Pro)? I do and always get an extremely overexposed image. Half of the face is lost in white. I can't find a setting option. There is also no information about this on the Microsoft website. Does anyone know about this and have a remedy? Many thanks and best regards!
