Is the video head and its exchangeable plate rather unsuitable for dslr? What would you recommend for a beginner with a canon 5d m4?

Good day. Is it correct that this video head can also be rotated horizontally when used? I assume that this video head can also be used on the most common sliders. Greetings

I recently bought and mounted the Manfrotto 500AH, now I want to dismantle the part again, how do I get the part off again? Is it now permanently mounted?

I have the Tripod Carbon. I was able to unscrew the existing head and screw the 500AH onto the thread. I can only recommend the 500AH tripod head, especially for large telescopes. With the sliding plate, the camera and lens can be optimally balanced.
