Question about Manfrotto 500ah
I recently bought and mounted the Manfrotto 500AH, now I want to dismantle the part again, how do I get the part off again? Is it now permanently mounted?

no, you can certainly get rid of it. simply tighten the fixing screw for the lateral rotation as much as possible and then loosen the whole head in the normal counterclockwise direction.
