I agree with you exactly! Today it says "approx. the day after tomorrow" then it says "4-6 weeks" again, what's the point!
Due to the Corona crisis, all shops have delivery problems. These are the signs of the times, or the Corona crisis.
There are shops that are much worse off and can't inform their customers accordingly. Digitec does an exemplary job in this difficult situation.

I'm in exactly the same situation. I ordered on 17.04 and am still waiting. The delivery time also changes constantly. One day it says: "approx. available in two days", the next day it says: "expected in 4-6 days" - really tedious. I don't want to bother with customer service either, they say that you have to expect a waiting time of 45 minutes at the call centre and a response time of 10 days by e-mail. Fortunately, the whole thing isn't urgent for me, but it's still frustrating when the delivery time keeps changing. Then they should just make more vague delivery times like "available in approx. 1 week" as long as they keep to this deadline, instead of always changing between 2 or 6 days and not keeping to the delivery deadline and overstaying it for months.
Unbelievable. I'm very happy with Digitec otherwise, but that with the camera makes me really angry.

In that case, you can buy a USB-C to USB-A dongle. For example, this one:
Satechi USB-A to USB-C (USB-A, 2.74cm)
It is important that if you choose another dongle, you buy one with USB 3.0 standard. Under 3.0 you cannot use the full resolution.

I have the same problem with the Microsoft LifeCam Cinema. Ordered at the beginning/middle of May with a 2 week delivery period. It was always down to 9-11 days. Then it was mid-June and now it's mid-August. The supply chains should be starting up again slowly but surely. In China, the production sites have been running at full speed again for some time.
