Hello, I also asked myself the question about (general) compatibility. Maybe also a help for others, can you find a listing on the Lenovo support website https://smartsupport.lenovo.com/ch/de/accessories/acc500106., including "X1 Carbon", at least "7th generation", etc.? Hope this helps :-)

My parents use this dock and LAN works. Troubleshooting: 1) Try another USB-C port on the notebook; on my parents' Yoga Slim 7 (not a ThinkPad), one is only for power, the other also for image (DisplayPort signal) and USB (and therefore for LAN) and therefore the correct one for the dock 2) Check the LAN cable, i.e. plug it directly into the notebook or other computer.2) Check whether the LAN adapter in the operating system (Windows) is deactivated, for example, or not available at all, perhaps because of missing drivers (should not be the case, it is plug and play). Good luck!

The power supply is basically used for the dock, the screens have no influence on it. You can find out which screens you can connect in the user manual (https://support.lenovo.com/nl/de/accessories/acc500106), where the connection cables and the screen resolutions are decisive. I hope this information helps

Hello, how long did the whole thing run smoothly, minutes, or several days? What happened in between? What happens when the monitor is connected directly to the HDMI or DPort? What happens with another external monitor? I would try the following: - Connect the monitor directly to the notebook and try to get that to work, then successively switch the docking station in between ... - Reset the monitor, if possible, or set it to auto-input. - Start Windows in standard mode, used to work with older Windows versions, only the most necessary drivers are loaded. - Reduce the screen resolution in Windows considerably - Check the BIOS in the notebook to see if a setting is set to AUTO and thus any parameters have been adjusted automatically. - check if the notebook can provide all data via the Thunderbolt interface - compatibility list notebook - consult the compatibility list of the manufacturer of the docking station regarding the screen resolution. - consult the FAQ for the docking station - Update the firmware of the docking station, or download it if it has been updated. - If all else fails, consider a defect in the docking station or the interfaces on the notebook. That's all I can think of, good luck!

I no longer use this thing. The docking station can't handle multiple screens. I would advise you against Lenovo docking stations in general, as I have only had negative experiences (with all the different models - right up to the most expensive). For a Surface Book, I would recommend the Surface Dock from Microsoft, but I have only tested it briefly myself. But it worked perfectly at the time.

I have the previous model Lenovo Yoga C940 with the USB-C Dock Gen. 2 in operation and am not 100% satisfied: - The notebook cannot be charged via the USB-C port (this may work again with the Yoga 9). - The network connection via the Ethernet port interrupts sporadically. By disconnecting and reconnecting the dock, it works again for some time.

Hello Marcelstadelmann Unfortunately, there are a few models from Lenovo with the Yoga designation. Which one do you have? I have the Dokingstation and a Lenovo Thinkpad L390 Yoga with 2x USB-C. (HDMI - A) That works tiptop. But if there is no USB-C or the YOGA from Lenovo is without Thinkpad, the connection or the possibility to operate the graphics via it is missing. There is a docking station that can be operated with USB-A. But the installation doesn't seem to be that easy. Numerous people have a problem with the drivers or the image and send it back. *** at your own risk *** Lenovo ThinkPad Hybrid -> item 10162691 Greetings Andreas

Hello, If the webcam can be connected via USB, this is not a problem. The docking station has a total of 5 "classic" USB ports (the large rectangular ones): 4 of them on the back and 1 on the front. I have connected the following devices to my docking station without any problems: - Mouse - keyboard - USB headset - External hard disk Kind regards

Unfortunately, the A brands are not interested in universality, so it is better to always use universal docks and test the Suport. The configurator also helps. https://i-tec.pro/de/konfigurator-2/

If your Mac Mini has a USB-C port, you can connect it. However, you would still have to connect the power cable to the Mac Mini, as I doubt that a desktop (Mac Mini) can receive power via USB-C. Otherwise: Try it out, try not to tear the packaging and if it doesn't work, send it back to Digitec.

Unfortunately, no. You effectively have this 60W. I had exactly the same problem and therefore bought a second charging cable. I would advise against this (and Lenovo) docking station in general. I have 2 of these things and they just cause problems. Black screens that don't boot up after standby, etc.

Hello MarkusWerser2: unfortunately I had to make the same experiences with the beginning of the lockdown and the start of the home office. The fact is that the normal USBC cable does not transmit the monitor signals. From this I conclude that the cable assignment and possibly other parameters differ from the Thunderbolt USB cable. In my application at the time, only the normal peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, etc. were transmitted. were transferred. My research in the www at the time confirmed this and various explanations can be found there. If I were you, I would try a cable that is explicitly designated as 'Thunderbolt', I am pretty sure that it will work with it. In the meantime, there are cables with lengths of 2m that are also affordable. Good luck. Greetings Thomas

Hi zäme - yes I bought one - unfortunately I can't use it because my two monitors don't have USB ports but the wide ones from before. If I can resell this - just let me know the user and I will look at it with him/her directly. glg Ruth Grossenbacher
