I also had this problem with my L14 (freshly installed). I had plugged a second Lan cable directly into the laptop, then it had obtained an IP. Now it also works via the docking station (USB C).

I have just received the Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Dock 60W (2nd gen.) docking station in the post.
Now I wanted to attach my business laptop (ThinkPad T14 Gen 1). The laptop is also immediately supplied with power. The second external screen also works. What I couldn't manage was to establish an internet connection via the docking station (network cable). I had to connect this directly to the laptop again. Is this docking station unable to do this or is it due to other settings?
