No, that should actually work directly! Simply connect a pair of normal headphones to this mic via jack and then connect the whole thing to the Dualshock Controller 👍

It needs an adapter from Apple Lightning to Klinker 3.5mm. Either Apple Lighting 13.- Apple Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter (Lightning, 3.5mm) or 4smarts AudioSplitter (Lightning, 3.5mm, Lightning). There is also a Lightning splitter that splits the output into two so that you can charge at the same time. You just have to search a bit to find the right one.
Not sure, but it works for me on all devices with a normal 3.5 mm jack plug for headphones/microphones.
I only use the Mik on the i Pod, so I can't answer this question.
