Question about IK Multimedia iRig Mic Lav

Hi ! Can this lapel microphone record with a tascam ? Like i connect it to the tascam and can it record sound? Or does it only work on a mobile phone ? Can i connect another lapel microphone to it (like rode or anything else) or does it have to be an another iRig mic lav ? thank you for responding me :D
