I don't know what kind of hardware is used on the laptop. With 2 Full HD monitors it runs great for my office work and watching youtubes, but gaming is a different category.

No, it is not possible with this adapter. You need the following product for it. i-tec THUNDERBOLT 3 Dual DP VideoAdapter (DP, 10cm)
It works very well, my only desire would be that it could provide also an a energy connection to powerup the notebook. But I really like it!
