I don't know what kind of hardware is used on the laptop. With 2 Full HD monitors it runs great for my office work and watching youtubes, but gaming is a different category.

The adapter is suitable for all laptops, smartphones that have a USB-C connector to support video transmission (DisplayPort alt Mode) or a Thunderbolt 3 connector.
Unfortunately, this is not the case with your notebook. The USB-C on the HP 15s is a USB 3.2 port without additional functions.

Ihr Laptop ist leider nicht mit dem Adapter kompatibel. Damit der Adapter funktioniert, muss der USB-C Ihres Laptops entweder den Thunderbolt3- oder den USB-C-DisplayPort-Alternativmodus unterstützen. Laut Handbuch Ihres Laptops unterstützt USB-C keines davon.

Unfortunately, your laptop is not compatible with the adapter. In order for the adapter to work, your laptop's USB-C must support either Thunderbolt3 or USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode. But according to manual to your laptop, USB-C supports neither of these.

No, it is not possible with this adapter. You need the following product for it.
i-tec THUNDERBOLT 3 Dual DP VideoAdapter (DP, 10cm)
It works very well, my only desire would be that it could provide also an a energy connection to powerup the notebook.
But I really like it!
