Hello, macOS does not support MST technology - because of that, you can use 1 external monitor (every other monitor will show the same picture). We do mention this on our website. MST technology does allow to "split" DisplayLink signal to 2 or 3 external monitors. But because the macOS does not support MST, then macOS cannot split this signal - and because of that every monitor connected to the docking station will show the same picture on macOS. Because you have a gaming setup, then the best option for you would be a docking station based on Thunderbolt technology. You can search for example TB3CDUALDPDOCKPD or TB3HDMIDOCKPLUS. The higher power of the power supply cannot be passed on by the docking station because the DC/DC converter in the docking station is limiting. In my case, switching to the 85W docking station helped because my original docking station was too weak to drive the computer's aged Li battery. Accordingly, USB and other ports failed, and finally the docking station broke. With the more powerful docking station, this worked well for 3 months. Now similar problems are starting again. The Li-battery has probably become even more power hungry in the meantime. The next thing I'm going to do is not change to 120W, but replace the battery - the keyboard is bulging and the touchpad is failing. In a word, the battery is starting to become dangerous. Speaking of HDMI/DP, I had read somewhere that the two cannot be operated simultaneously from the docking station.

Hello, The docking station does work with MacBooks - but please note that only 1 external extended monitor is possible. Every other connected monitor will show the same picture as the first monitor. But if you would use 1 external monitor then everything should work without any problem. Best Regards i-tec Team

Hello, The MacBook is partially compatible with the docking station. Everything will work, but if you use 2 external monitors, both monitors will show the same picture (they will be cloned) - this is because macOS does not support MST technology. If you want to use 2 external monitors, I would recommend getting a Thunderbolt3 docking station or docking station based on Displaylink technology. You can contact our technical support: support@itecproduct.com Kind regards i-tec team --------------------- Hello, MacBook is partially compatible with the docking station. This dock is compatible with a 2018 macbook pro. However, you can only connect one monitor to this dock on macOS. If you want to connect two to the hub, you need to connect the hub with thunderbolt 3 and not usb-c.

Hi Mabo85 What happens to the second screen? Does it stay black? Basically, it could be that the screen settings are not correct. I.e. I would check what it shows when you right-click on the (empty) desktop and then go to display settings. There you should see the screens. If this is the case, then click on the screen on which nothing appears and look further down at the item "Multiple displays" to see if "Expand this display" is selected. Please also note the information in the manual (https://i-tec.cz/wp-content...) about the resolutions: - One monitor: 1x HDMI max. resolution 3840x2160 / 30Hz or 1x display connector max. resolution 3840x2160 / 30Hz or 1x VGA max. resolution 1920x1080 / 60Hz - Two monitors: (DP + HDMI, HDMI + VGA, DP + VGA): max. resolution 1920x1080 / 60Hz - Three monitors: (DP + HDMI + VGA): One monitor with a max. resolution of 1920x1080 / 60Hz, two other monitors with a resolution of 1280x720 / 60Hz For me, this would mean that 4k cannot be used with two monitors, for example. I hope I could help you (and/or others). LG

Hello, If the monitor has a Thunderbolt or Thunderbolt2 port, it should be possible to do mini DisplayPort reductions using DisplayPort. However, as we have not tested this configuration, I cannot guarantee that it will actually work.
