Sorry but I don't understand the info. Is this dock compatible with a 2018 macbook pro? And if so, could I use two external displays at the same time (one display connected to DisplayPort and one to HDMI, all on a USB C output of my mac)?

This dock is compatible with a 2018 macbook pro. However, you can only connect one monitor to this dock on macOS. If you want to connect two to the hub, you need to connect the hub with thunderbolt 3 and not usb-c.
