Exactly. Connect the USB dongle, wait until the headset is recognised and set up, switch on the headset and off you go. If necessary, the headset must still be selected in the Windows playback settings. This worked for me without any problems.

This is primarily an active headset, i.e. to be used via the USB wireless adapter on PC and PS4.
So I wouldn't buy it to use it primarily wired via 3.5mm.
Basically, I find it a solid headset.
The sound is good for a gaming headset and the mic is one of the better ones, but I replaced it with an Antlion ModMic.

No, this is not possible because the headset is connected to a USB dongle. This can only be plugged into one place.

Unfortunately, no one can give you a general answer because the devices transmit in the 2.4Ghz band and it depends on how many other signals interfere and on the condition of your flat.
Wireless mice and keyboards, as well as WiFi, also operate in the 2.4Ghz band.
I, for example, have several such devices and a specially powerful Wifi access point in the same room and can be up to 8m away from the transceiver with only rare problems.
However, the headphones must be operated by cable as far as I know. Unless I've read something over. The noise cancelling will work when the battery in the headset is charged because the noise cancelling runs on it.
For heaven's sake, please use commas or full stops (punctuation)!
Please check the following:
- Operating system?
- USB 2.0 port used & active?
- Device charged?
- Driver installed?
- Microphone plugged in correctly?
- within a reasonable range (<10m), with no walls in between?

Yes, I have the headset and also use it part of the time while charging (audio / microphone). However, the cable supplied is rather short for this purpose.

It is quite possible that this is a defect. If the suspicion is to be confirmed, the unit would have to be sent in.
I can only find them on Amazon, the others are for the alpha version of the headset.

Basically this should work, but of course only via cable. A normal 3.5 mm jack to 3.5 mm jack cable (e.g. Cordial CFS WW (1.50 m, medium class, 3.5 mm jack (AUX)) ) is sufficient. Maybe you already own such a cable. Please note that there are mono and stereo cables. The mono cable has one small line on the plug and the stereo has two. Jack cables are still the best way to transmit sound, which is why this is exactly the right case for the connection. However, if you want to have even better quality one day, I can only recommend the headphones from Beyerdynamics. They are comparatively cheap and have top quality (also use jack 3.5mm).

The headset should actually come with a 3.5 mm jack headphone cable. If this was not the case, please contact our customer service directly via the help centre.
Are you sure it has to do with the headset ? And not a power cable that is not plugged in properly.
However, there are strange effects when devices are "sensitive" to interference in the 2.4 GHz range.
I would update the software of the TV.
You may simply have to remove the headset from the list of Bluetooth devices in the TV.

The microphone is supposed to explicitly filter out other noises such as "closing noises of doors/windows, keystrokes, mouse clicks etc.".
If you are using a Windows PC, you can click on Sound System Control under System/Sound in the top right-hand corner and a sound window will pop up.
In this window you go to Recording and select your microphone by right-clicking on Properties.
Under the tab Level you can set your microphone to 100 so that others can hear you louder.
Under the tab Advanced you should set the standard format to 1 channel, 16bit and 48000Hz. (This is the most sensitive)
The microphone has been working for me for more than 3 years now without any problems.
Tip: Do not use the software offered by Kingston.
