Yes kar, charges a little weaker so it goes longer but it goes.

Unfortunately, the magnetic part of the cable is not compatible with the MagSafe connector, only the supplied cable with the correct counterpart can be used.

There is no problem with my 2016 13" MacBook Pro with TouchBar: the USB-C port next to the Breaksafe is easily accessible and the original Apple USB-C cable can be plugged in without any problems, for example. I have briefly taken two photos for demonstration: imgur.com/a/x1PWu
