Unfortunately, this product is not compatible. Here are the ones that are: https://www.digitec.ch/fr/s1/producttype/telephones-442?tagIds=7&f=b908-169340
Hello
I once had a similar problem, if not exactly the same. I thought the phone was broken and ordered a new one (exactly the same model). But it turned out that it was Swisscom's fault. Swisscom was able to fix the problem. Sincerely
Hello.
Unfortunately, this does not work with the C430. I think it only works with devices of the S series.
Call barring with the C430 only works if you operate the device together with a router that has a call barring function (this is what I do with the FritzBox).
Oops, that's where I came up with Enter.
C415 H H= Handpiece
To add a handset to a base station you need the C430H.
Unfortunately, only the C430H charging station is still available on Digitec.
I have checked all available handsets offered by Galaxus and checked for compatibility.
Unfortunately, I have to inform you that the compatibility of the available handsets is mostly limited to outgoing calls and incoming calls and the main part of the functions will not be available.
Alternatively, you could switch to a DUO from Gigaset as the surcharge is rather low. e.g.: Gigaset C430A Duo
I hope I could help you
Greetings John
In the menu item Settings->ECO DECT you can switch the phone to "Radiation-free". But I don't know what that means exactly. We have switched it on and use the phone normally and don't notice any difference.
This is an analogue telephone that cannot be operated with VoIP, i.e. it cannot be connected to RJ45. Art. no. 3522689, for example, would be suitable for this.
I use the phone with Cablecom. I have connected an adapter to convert the TT87 connection (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reichle-Stecker) to an RJ11 plug that fits into the cablecom modem.
I already had this phone with Swisscom TV 1.0 and now also with version 2.0. It works without any problems.
The caller number is displayed. If it is entered in Swisscom's electronic telephone book (usually for fixed network numbers), the name of the caller is displayed directly as it is registered there.
I use the Gigaset with a Swisscom Viva package and the Centro Grande WLAN router modem. I have no experience with UPC and cannot answer this question. UPC's technical support should be able to answer this question if their quality is good!
