Is this the 1440p version with wide angle?

I'm not sure if it's the 1440p, but for the wide angle you need the Garmin 65w, but unfortunately it's only available in 1080p. That's why I chose the 55, better resolution but smaller angle!

Helpful answer
I have a Garmin 55 (55W does not exist, only 65W. W stands for wide angle). The camera does not have a motion sensor, but reacts to vibrations. For this purpose, however, it is necessary to both permanently supply the device with power by means of an optional (!) cable and to inform it about the state of the vehicle (ignition on/off).

The date, time, GPS coordinates and speed are continuously displayed at the bottom of the exported video. In the Garmin programme, you can also display a Google map with a position point parallel to the video. GPS coordinates and speed are of course only available with GPS reception; this information is missing when recording in a car park, for example.
