Question about Garmin Dash Cam 55
Does the Garmin 55W and 65W have a motion sensor? If there is someone within a radius of approx. 1 - 2 metres of the parked car, the Garmin switches on automatically and records the events.

I have a Garmin 55 (55W does not exist, only 65W. W stands for wide angle). The camera does not have a motion sensor, but reacts to vibrations. For this purpose, however, it is necessary to both permanently supply the device with power by means of an optional (!) cable and to inform it about the state of the vehicle (ignition on/off).
