Fuji Switzerland replied to me yesterday - "In stock" will not be anywhere in the near future. They also write "If you order today, you have a waiting time of 3-4 months (as of today). Some in CH have already received the camera and are selling it at euphoric prices on other platforms because they have ordered several. I do not recommend buying them under any circumstances. And if you're in a hurry - there are still great deals on the X100V available :-)
I assume that we will know more by 7 March at the latest. The online shop Brack displays its pre-orders more transparently than Galaxus. There are 78 back orders listed, which should be available by 7 March. Given that Galaxus purchases the cameras from the same distributor, this could be a good indication.
It's a real shame that we at Digitec/Galaxus as customers are left out in the cold about the expected dates.
As soon as I have any updates, I'll let you know.
Please contact our customer service so that they can check your delivery status and provide you with information accordingly.
You can find our contact form at the following link: https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/de/requests/new
If you ordered from Digitec/Galaxus, you can ask them to refund you the difference.
If you have a payment method on file (e.g. credit card), the amount will even be refunded to you, otherwise you will only have a voucher...
Unfortunately, this will probably not affect the delivery date 😥
If you don't want to wait any longer, can you just cancel? Galaxus customer service advised me to do this - they don't seem to be able to provide any information 🥲
Yes, the expected delivery date displayed in the customer account in the order shows the more precise date, as it takes into account the ordered unit or queue. The date on the product page shows the expected date if one were to place a new order at the current time.
According to our current terms and conditions, we do not offer interest on advance payments. You can view our available payment methods here:

To understand how our General Terms and Conditions supplement or adapt the Swiss Code of Obligations, we recommend that you take a look at our GTCs at the following link:

It says the following: Delivery status Delivery date is being clarified and updated. Apparently Digitec cannot give an exact delivery date either. The X100 is a very popular camera.
Small point of criticism:
Basically Digitec can't help that the camera is not available, but I think it would be an advantage to keep the waiting customers up to date. Even if it's just a single comment from an employee as a statement, that would be more than enough for many and even if the delivery time slipped out for a long time or Digitec only got their slot for the models late, I think everyone would understand.
What disappointed me again this week, however, was that I asked customer service whether the camera would really arrive on Thursday. Despite my great optimism, I knew that this would probably not be the case and that I could wait even longer for the camera. Unfortunately, I was assured by customer service itself via the chat function that the camera would arrive on Thursday, 2 May 2024. Thanks, but I can read what my order says for myself :)
Dear Digitec team we look forward to future updates on the delivery date
I'm also waiting for my X100VI, but I pre-ordered it relatively late (27 February).
Next time it's best to pre-order the camera directly from a specialist dealer, as they seem to be given preferential delivery by FUJI. I've read from some people here that the delivery dates in the order overview change daily and are inconsistent - so you're not alone with your frustration.
I'll keep an eye on the situation and update you as soon as I find out more or something has changed with my order :)
I enquired via Chat Support and received the following answer:
"I was happy to look into your request. Following consultation with the relevant department, I would like to inform you that we have contacted the supplier and received the following response:
"The requested item is extremely popular, but unfortunately is still not readily available.
Unfortunately, no delivery date is known. We assume that we will receive deliveries in May, but this has not yet been confirmed and therefore the quantity and allocation are not yet known."
First of all, I would like to formally apologise for the circumstances and briefly explain why there has been such a delay.
For products that are not available from our own central warehouse and/or are shipped directly by the suppliers, we are heavily dependent on the information provided by our many national and international suppliers. They have the option of updating delivery dates themselves so that the information provided is always up to date with as little delay as possible.
Even with products that are shown as in stock in our warehouse, we unfortunately cannot completely rule out possible errors in view of our very wide and deep range in combination with a high throughput of goods.
Fortunately, from a statistical point of view, the delivery times stated can be met in the vast majority of cases in accordance with our respective specifications. This applies to both our own warehouses and those of our suppliers.
I am extremely sorry that in your case the stated stock levels and delivery times could not be met and I apologise to you most sincerely. We are endeavouring to resolve the matter as quickly as possible and in your interests."
According to official Fuji announcement: 4 months waiting time from order

HOW CAN I GET AN X100VI?
Due to the high demand, the FUJIFILM X100VI will probably not be available from stock at any of our dealers in the foreseeable future. In order to be considered for future deliveries, we therefore recommend that you pre-order the X100VI from one of our dealers. Orders will then be processed as they are received.
We currently expect a waiting time of at least 4 months for a new order.
