According to the data collected in the official EPSON documentation, automatic duplex scanning is unfortunately not supported on this model.
According to the information found, no.
The scanner is very fast, even when it was in sleep mode. Dupex printing is very good, after printing the first page, the sheet is retracted and prints the second page in the back, without smearing, of course, very clean. All in all the printer is very good, even if it is a bit noisy when printing.
Hello. Yes, it's in.
Mediocre, also the print does not fix well, you can wipe the ink away with your finger. Otherwise satisfied, very economical and cheap ink consumption.
I run the printer under Windows. You can also send print jobs via the mobile phone. LG Tobi
Good evening dear users and interested parties of the ET-5150, first of all, if I may not contradict a lady, I must qualify from practical experience as follows: 1.Xubuntu 20.04 LTS works fine both print and scan function. 2.on the regular Epson site this is not obviously offered. This is because there is no official support. However, on a separate page there is end-user support including downloads and instructions per distribution. Here is the link: https://support.epson.net/linux/en/imagescanv3.php Other distributions are also described there. Practical tip, Install the "Epson Scan 2" programme for sensible scanning. It is more convenient for me than XSANE. Technical tip for configuration in the network: After a kernel update, check whether the printer is still connected. After last weekend, the ET-5150 was removed from the printer driver configuration (CUPS.CONF). In my opinion, this is due to a compilation error in the patch from 5.2.2022 in Ubuntu. This sporadically overwrites the above-mentioned file with an outdated copy. This has also happened with my HP LJ-2100TN. Both printers are on my network and not connected directly to the PC. My assumption is that the link between the above-mentioned configuration file and the corresponding host name is lost because the Epson is connected by name and not by IP address. With the HP printer mentioned above, deleting and reinstalling the printer on the CUPS page (internal web service of the local print service in Debian-based Linux) solved the problem. This is under observation for the ET-5150 because I use the host name for printing from the smartphone. Have fun with the printer, it is also recommended under Xubuntu from my point of view. Have a nice evening, Knubbels
Good day. Yes, we have also noticed this with a black surface. Kind regards
The best thing to do is to contact our customer service directly at https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/de/requests/new. Your request can then be examined individually.
Unfortunately, duplex scanning is not possible via the ADF. I don't know if it scans OCR.
Yes, C5 works, and the Auto mode works relatively quickly. The price of the printer is too high. The only cheap thing are the cartridges. HP Office jet pro works better.
I printed a photo on Migros Budget photo paper and actually found it quite OK there. But I don't have a comparative value. It is certainly rather matt.
I don't know. I don't need fax functions. Sorry
Unfortunately, the print head of this printer is fixed. Therefore, you cannot change the way the printed page comes out.
No, unfortunately that does not work. The scan function is also very slow. You need a little patience.
Gemäss Hersteller sind nur die 113er Patronen kompatibel. https://www.epson.ch/products/printers/inkjet-printers/for-home/ecotank-et-5170#accessories
Yes, there is a separate ink tank for black and the printer driver (macOS) offers the "greyscale" setting for pure black printing.
