The Eizo CS2740 ColorEdge, with its stand, requires more than 20 cm of depth and is therefore not suitable for your space requirements. This professional 27-inch monitor with 3840 x 2160 pixels (UHD) is excellent for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, and video editing (DaVinci, Avid) due to its color accuracy and high resolution. However, a 27-inch monitor ergonomically requires a viewing distance of 60–70 cm and ideally a desk depth of at least 70 cm, which includes the stand. For a professional monitor with a maximum stand depth of 20 cm, you would need a model with a smaller diagonal (e.g., 24 inches) or a special monitor with a very compact base, although 24 inches is less optimal for 4K video timelines. I am not entirely sure which specific professional model meets this extreme depth limitation for 4K/27"-equivalent performance, as available data does not measure stand depths. It's worth asking in the community forum for models with a "flat base" or "VESA mounting without a tall stand" to minimize the distance.

Yes, the monitor is compatible with the MacBook Pro M4 Pro. According to EIZO compatibility tests, the monitor works with all Apple M series devices, including the newer M generations. You can connect it via USB-C (with DisplayPort Alternate Mode), DisplayPort or HDMI. The USB-C connection is particularly practical as it transmits video, data and power simultaneously via a single cable.

I assume that you mean the measuring device for calibration. It depends on the calibration software. You will need ColorNavigator 7. CN7 supports: Datacolor Spyder5 / EIZO EX3 Datacolor SpyderX / EIZO EX4 and many others as well I use the Spider X.

I am very satisfied with the monitor. Above all, the simple connection via the USB-C interface is very practical, as the Mac is also charged at the same time, just one cable for everything. Very practical, especially for mobile devices. Ask the seller about the warranty. Cast

I own the new Macbook Pro M1, which runs without problems. The Air should actually work there too. The USB C connection of the monitor simply has to be plugged directly into the Mac, it doesn't work (for me) via a hub etc.

When you have Swiss Editions, the difference is often in the warranty. The manufacturer, here, grants an exceptional 5-year warranty, unique in the industry, on all Swiss Edition monitors, with a free on-site exchange service. As far as the stock is concerned, we can't tell you if it will be valid for much longer or not, sorry.
