There may be various reasons for this. The HDMI standard could be one reason.
4k 120hz no problem at all at 10m. Note, however, that the cable only works in one direction. eARC I can't say.
The cable is directional. There is an arrow on the connector that must point in the right direction. This may be the reason.
According to the manufacturer, the quality of the components is not the same (copper, gold, etc ...). Here is often the difference in rates.
It basically depends on the quality of the adapter.
