Hello Does anyone know why the maximum frame rate is given as 60Hz? Wouldn't that be 120Hz for 4K if the cable is 48 Gbit/s capable? Am I wrong? Greetings and thanks
The 60Hz refers to 8K. 4K 120Hz requires less bandwidth than 8K 60Hz, i.e. 4K 120Hz should also work if 8K 60Hz is supported.
According to the manufacturer, 3840 x 2160 @ 144 Hz is supported.

If the cable supports 8K/60Hz and is 48Gbit/s capable, the cable must also support 4K at 120Hz. However, 8K/60Hz is often specified as the maximum because 8K/60Hz requires more bandwidth than 4K/120Hz. What I can't tell you is whether the cable supports VRR (i.e. Nvidia G-Sync) because it's an optical cable.
This depends on the system and the connected hardware. However, this cable has a resolution of up to 7680 x 4320 / 60 Hz. Data transfer rate is up to 48 Gbps.
I meant image rendering.
