No, this is not possible with this adapter. The adapter converts USB-C to DisplayPort and HDMI, so it works in one direction: from the USB-C device (such as a laptop) to the outputs. It cannot receive input signals from a DisplayPort PC and forward them to a USB-C display.
You can use the adapter to connect your Surface Laptop 7 to your monitor via USB-C with an HDMI 2.1 cable. The adapter supports HDMI 2.1, which is usually sufficient to transmit 4K@120Hz, provided that your laptop and monitor support this resolution and frame rate. However, check the specifications of your laptop and monitor to ensure that they fulfil these requirements.
The adapter supports only 1 display which can be connected to either HDMI or DP. See also:

I own the surface book 2 and the adapter works perfectly. However, as you have already heard in other questions about the adapter, it is only supposed to work with 1 screen at a time. That means: either hdmi or display port. However, I have not tested this. Have a nice day. Greetings T. K
Unfortunately not, this product will only be able to display one screen in extended desktop mode. If you ad a "Y " (Splitter) cable you would have twice the same display on the screens.
I suspect that the USB-C connector on your ASUS notebook does not support the transmission of Displayport signals. This means that no video signals are transmitted. Check the manual, because there are different versions of USB-C.
I dont know which ipad pro you have, but mine for example has lighting connection and not USB-C. This product works with USB-C. I tested it now with my Microsoft laptop and it works perfectly !
