Creative Sound BlasterX Katana

According to our supplier, the item is not available until the beginning of December. As soon as it is available, we will publish the article.
Unfortunately, we currently have no source of supply for the article mentioned. As far as I know, the product was only distributed directly by the manufacturer in Switzerland after publication. Unfortunately, our suppliers cannot order the article (at present).
Yes, that is possible. The laptop can be connected directly to the speaker system via USB and is suitable for games, films as well as music. You can find more information on the manufacturer's website: http://de.creative.com/p/speakers/sound-blasterx-katana
I am also interested in the answer.
Yes, it's normal, the "standard" sound comes out of the 2 upper speakers. The other 2 speakers are "tweeters" which only handle a part of the sound frequencies. It is a 2.1 system.
Unfortunately, this is not planned at the moment. I'm sorry.
You could already connect this soundbar to the TV via an optical cable, but in principle it is intended for PC operation. For TV operation, I would choose a soundbar that has an HDMI connection. For example, this one: Grundig DSB 2000 (1 x 220 W)
This is the V1 The V2 is for inexplicable reasons not (anymore?) in the DG shop...
I would be interested too!
No sorry, I don't use the mic (didn't know there was one in there :-))

Unfortunately we have no news at the moment.
I can answer that question myself right now. It is a clear improvement on the Logitech product. Therefore, a clear buy recommendation and I find the price difference to the Logitech product justified ;-)
No, you cannot adapt any other loudspeaker boxes to it. However, I cannot say whether another speaker can be paired via Bluetooth.
Hi Yes, the soundbar comes with a sound card. It is connected via USB, the sound card of the PC is then actually no longer used (unless you want it to be). If the sound card is connected via audio cable, the sound is of course generated by the PC. But there is no reason to connect the soundbar in this way ;-) Best regards
Probably more of a statement than a question 😊 but yes I am also satisfied
5-10mm it has small wedge-shaped uprights that raise the front
The subwoofer must simply be active -> have a cinch input and its own power connection.
Yes, you can also deactivate the LED. I have connected the SBX to my GPC. Top sound and basses also fit. I can only recommend it.
Good evening ! I also have the same Spundbar. Updating the firmware is no problem. You have to start and run the programme with administrator rights. + Remove every cable from the Spundbar except power and PC / USB. Good luck :) hope I could help ^^
Is this soundbar also TV-compatible? how is it connected? can the software be controlled via the TV?
Yes, USB/digital/Bluetooth. Shouldn't be a big problem, but it's really quite small and has controls on the bar itself. Perfect for the PC if you have little space, for the TV if it's a small one: why not?
For me, the thing runs on an iMac, sound works without problems, via USB as well as 3.5mm audio quite well. However, I haven't found any suitable software (apart from the driver), which means you still have to change the light show manually.
You have to unplug the headphones from the soundbar. There is no way to adjust this. For this reason, I have connected the headphones directly to the PC so that I don't have to keep plugging them in.
