Question about Creative Sound BlasterX Katana

Yes, I also have this problem. No matter whether with USB 2 or 3, it makes no difference. I also use a FiiO E10K Olympus 2 for my headphones, no problems there!

I finally connected it via Toslink. No more popping and the control via PC works the same (louder, softer etc.). Connecting it to USB-C via an adapter should also help.

I had creaking and scratching with the USB connection too, have now also connected a Toslink cable and now listen to music via the optical output and the software continues to run via the connected USB cable, all good, sound quality perfect. no more creaking and scratching.

Oh, I've only just seen that you've written. I haven't found a solution at the moment, but I don't notice it so much any more. So at the moment I think it's negligible, at the beginning it really bothered me, now I notice it very rarely. Conclusion, get them if there is action, otherwise I would leave them alone because of this deficiency.
