Light intensity is always an issue. I don't know how accurate your tracker is, the whole thing will depend on accuracy, residual light and your requirements, so it's a case of "the proof of the pudding is in the eating". If it doesn't work out, a 10 mm lens is always nice, especially for indoor shots, and it's not too much of a risk price-wise. Good luck

Yes, but the lens is designed for APS-C and not for full-frame cameras, which means that on the 6D you will either have black image edges and corners or you switch the camera to APS-C (approx. 15 megapixels from 26).
