Is it good for astrophotography? PS: I have a Startracker from Moveshootmove, so the low light intensity is not an issue. Or is it? Thanks for your help.

Helpful answer
Light intensity is always an issue. I don't know how accurate your tracker is, the whole thing will depend on accuracy, residual light and your requirements, so it's a case of "the proof of the pudding is in the eating". If it doesn't work out, a 10 mm lens is always nice, especially for indoor shots, and it's not too much of a risk price-wise. Good luck

Half the speed means collecting 4x more light for the same image result. sooner or later you won't be happy with that. for similar money, take a look at the Samyang. it's already available with aperture f2.
