According to the manufacturer, only up to 30mm is possible. I tried with a 37mm deep cardboard box; worked too, but may not look so perfect. The joint part remains a bit high and maybe the lamp has to be turned a bit, which is no problem to adjust the light beam. And if it doesn't fit, you can return the lamp.
With the Screenbar Plus, an adapter is included with which you can then switch the screenbar on/off and dim it for easier adjustment instead of always adjusting it directly on the screenbar. The control system can be seen in pictures 5-7.
Hello Raphael
It is approx. 7.0 cm. If it doesn't fit, why not put a small felt glider or similar on the edge of the screen, then put the holder on top. I can highly recommend the lamp!

J.
I don't have a Mac Studio Display, but my input may help anyway: The front bar is 37mm wide and protrudes about 7mm from the top edge of the screen. Depending on how close the camera is to the top of the screen, this may not get in the way at all. If it doesn't bother you that the lamp is not centred on the monitor, you can attach it to the left or right of the camera.
Incidentally, this strip is the only thing that is likely to be in the way, as the lamp itself is located approx. 8 mm above the edge of the screen.
Thank you for your comment. You can find more detailed information here: https://www.digitec.ch/de.... We are already clarifying this with our purchasing department.
Only minimally. You will only see the difference if the room is otherwise very dark / poorly lit (similar to the difference between whether the screen is displaying something bright or dark). The aim of the lamp is precisely that it does not dazzle, and thus does not emit light at eye level.
But you could probably make a small reflector with some photo paper or aluminium foil :)
I measured it and it's a little more than 7mm. So no problems because of the clip.
Here is a review with the normal Scrennbar with an iMac:

It depends on the size of the screen. I have 2 screens 32 & 34 inches (so relatively large). That's why I ordered two. With 2x 24s it works theoretically if you only use one, but then one side is darker (i.e. the one without light). I would recommend two, as I am quite happy with my lighting result, and I would recommend the Screenbar PLUS, as the operation with the wheel is much better than with the standard Screenbar.
