Hello - I bought this Aten US3342 with the intention of being able to easily switch back and forth between my business laptop (Thinkpad X1) and my Mac Studio on the Apple display. Unfortunately, this does not work with this Aten... What hardware would come into question here or maybe someone has a workaround to be able to do this with the Atem US3342? Many thanks for the help!

Have you checked the latest firmware? They did a few updates since this device was launched to the market. I'd definitely give it a try. Other than that... It works well the one I have.

The manufacturer (ATEN) titles the device "2-Port USB-C Gen 2 Sharing Switch with Power Pass-through". So could I connect the ATEN to the input of a Lenovo dock and the power supplied from the dock is passed through to the 2 laptops attached to the ATEN? Or is there only power to the input devices when a power supply is attached to the ATEN? https://www.aten.com/eu/en/products/usb-&-thunderbolt/peripheral-switches/us3342/

Can wireless peripherals also be shared with this part? That is, Mac mouse and keyboard without cables?

Yes, I use an HP USB dongle and connect the mouse and keyboard.
