Question about Aten US3342

Hello - I bought this Aten US3342 with the intention of being able to easily switch back and forth between my business laptop (Thinkpad X1) and my Mac Studio on the Apple display. Unfortunately, this does not work with this Aten... What hardware would come into question here or maybe someone has a workaround to be able to do this with the Atem US3342? Many thanks for the help!

Have you checked the latest firmware? They did a few updates since this device was launched to the market. I'd definitely give it a try.
Other than that... It works well the one I have.

I bought the Aten US3342 with the same idea of connecting two notebooks to one display and then switching back and forth between the two notebooks. Unfortunately, this does not work because the USB-C port only supports data transfer. USB-C monitor is not supported. This is also what the user manual says.

I also have this device at home, but only for switching mouse and keyboard, if you want to switch video outputs you need something like this: Ugreen 2 In 1 Out HDMI Switcher 4K@60Hz
