A) yes, 1080 is still pretty new all new boards are compatible otherwise there is a problem. B) unfortunately can't give you a recommendation about ram. C) 4x8GB often overclock better, otherwise it doesn't really matter, some programs prefer one or the other but the performance difference is minimal D) yes, has pins for water pump/aio if needed
According to our information, the board is currently available for order.
Yes, it is very good and I hardly notice any difference. I am very surprised by it.
The product instructions https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1200/ROG_STRIX_Z490-E_GAMING/G16538_ROG_STRIX_Z490-E_GAMING_UM_V2_WEB.pdf should describe exactly which fans can be connected (and how). If you have any further questions, it is best to contact the manufacturer directly.
Depends on what exactly you mean by SSD. Here are the exact specifications: 2x M.2 (M-Key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110, PCIe 3.0) 6x SATA 6 Gb/s
Hello Martin So it is that this mainboard has the chipset for the 10th generation and does not support the 11th generation. That's why there is no PCIE 4... The 11th generation needs Z590 as chipset and the 12th generation needs Z690... But the 12th generation definitely has PCIE 4 I hope I could help you. Greetings TheRealBeaky
Non :( https://rog.asus.com/ch-de/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-z490-e-gaming-model/
Pass... I only recommend a good cooling system for the CPU, it can be quite a heat head!
Afaik it has Intel PTT, which is very similar to TPM
Without specifying budget and for what... Unfortunately, at the moment you can't really be choosy when it comes to graphics cards if you need one within a reasonable period of time. Really available goods are very scarce and what is available is completely overpriced.
In fact the Intel 11 generations are essential, as is the minimum 490 chipset, subject to the card's hardware, for PCIe-4. As said above other manufacturers are announcing PCIe 4 compatibility for 11th generation Intel CPUs with 470 chipsets, but I'm of the opinion that if a new chipset has been produced, Z590, you might as well take it.
It depends on what kind of CPU fan you install.
The Commander Pro can be connected internally via USB.
Yes there is, but do watch out hen building the system, some AIO coolers actually require you to plug them into the CPU fan header for full functionality :)
The most common are the m.2 2280, so it's best to get one of those. But the board supports 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110.
Those who can read are at a distinct advantage. According to the specification it says "Fan Headers: 8x 4-pin".
Hello, I meant with the first slot. I also have the mainboard with a Samsung 970 EVO Plus. It's ultra fast for me. LG
If you mean the m2 - yes, it works. The MoBo is only pcie 3.0 but you will hardly notice a difference with the real throughput of the 980. I myself got a 970 because it just fit better :-)
I have no such problem with Bluetooth. Whether headphones, controllers or mice, everything is OK with more than 2m and a table in between.
Any motherboard that has a PCI-E 16x connector will fit a GPU.
Well, I have connected 13 fans. But there are a total of 8 connections: 1x CPU 1x CPU OPT 1x AiO 2x chassis 1x M.2 1x W_PUMP 1x VRM heatsink I have used a splitter to connect more fans. All slots are in the 4Pin version.
Nein Intel sei dank, die interkompatibilität von Intel CPU hat schon so manche Benutzer frustriert. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000056725/processors.html
