Question about ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming
Dear Community My RAM or my mainboard-RAM connection gave up the ghost yesterday. So I would like to upgrade my system right now. This motherboard, I9-10900k and a RAM. A) I still have an Asus Geforce 1080 Strix. Is this compatible? B) Which Ram can you recommend? C) Do I prefer 2x16GB or 4x8GB? D) The water cooling should be compatible, right? Kind regards Florin

A) yes, 1080 is still pretty new all new boards are compatible otherwise there is a problem.
B) unfortunately can't give you a recommendation about ram.
C) 4x8GB often overclock better, otherwise it doesn't really matter, some programs prefer one or the other but the performance difference is minimal
D) yes, has pins for water pump/aio if needed
