Question about ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming

Hello community I am planning to upgrade my PC for the first time myself. Last year I installed a GEFORCE RTX 2080 super. Now I would like to upgrade the mainboard and processor. I have chosen the ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming as the mainboard and the processor intel core i9-10900k. Now my question is do these elements fit together to a certain extent in terms of performance?

Pass... I only recommend a good cooling system for the CPU, it can be quite a heat head!
