Pentax K-3 20-40mm KIT

The Pentax K-3 was developed with the aim of delivering the highest possible quality in APS-C format. It was important to combine the robustness of the body with a particularly demanding feature set and the best possible image quality.

The magnesium alloy body offers exceptional weather resistance through 92 seals and houses the newly developed 24-megapixel CMOS sensor, along with a variety of new features that are unique in this combination.

Many details contribute to achieving the perfect image, some of which were completely newly developed for the Pentax K-3. New developments include the 24-megapixel CMOS sensor, a new exposure metering system using an 86,000-pixel RGB light sensor, and a newly developed autofocus module SAFOX XI with 27 AF sensors, 25 of which are cross-type. A special innovation is the "AA simulator," which reliably prevents the moiré effect despite the absence of a low-pass filter.

The video function has been expanded with many features, such as manual exposure control, allowing for video productions at the highest level.

For image control, in addition to the very bright 100% viewfinder, there is a large 3.2" monitor available. Thanks to WiFi transmission via the Pentax "FLU Card," image and camera control can even be performed via smartphone.
