Für eine Vollformat-DSLR fällt die Pentax K-1 klein aus. Einen großen Teil der Rückseite belegt der Monitor, mit seiner tollen Mechanik ist er flexibler klappbar als bei den kleineren Pentax. Die Kreuz-Tasten sind doppelt belegt für Einstellungen und Autofokus-Messpunkte. Die Bildqualität hat Profi-Niveau, bei wenig Licht zahlt sich der große Sensor aus.
