The dead live longer: With the Lumix S5D, Panasonic is resurrecting the 4K/6K photo functions and contrast AF with DFD extension. If you want a faster focus, you can use an external LiDAR AF module from DJI. The price is attractive: for around 1600 euros with the new, very compact Lumix S 4.5-6.3/18-40 mm kit lens, the buyer gets a splash-proof camera with very good features at an upper mid-range level.
