Nintendo's little box is a worthy successor that, unlike the Switch 1, doesn't start with outdated technology, but brings modern components for the mobile sector that even give Xbox Series X and PS5 a run for their money in some aspects...

The Nintendo Switch 2 surprised us both positively and negatively during testing: although the display with VRR support and a 120 hertz refresh rate enables a very smooth display, the low luminosity is disappointing for HDR graphics. One of the positive surprises is the good graphical performance of major titles such as "Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate c't 2025, Issue 14 Edition" or the fun "Mario Kart World"...
- Great display
- Backwards compatible with Switch 1
- Joy-Cons with mouse function
- Short battery life
- Meagre game selection at the start
