Product details
Step up your game with the creative powerhouse Z6III, designed with the spirit of the Z8 and Z9 to fuel your swing. Got big dreams? This handy full-frame mirrorless camera makes it possible. The high sensor sampling rates enable full pixel readout for clear, detailed images with outstanding dynamic range and high colour fidelity. Native ISO value from 100 to 64,000 (expandable to 50-204,800). Internal 6K/60P (RAW) and 5.4K/60P (YUV) recording. 4K UHD/60p videos with oversampling of 6K can be created directly in the camera and film material with 240p (10x slow motion) can be recorded. The external microphone input can be used as a line-level input for professional sound.
The electronic viewfinder with 4000 cd/m2 and 5,760,000 pixels enables a smooth, high-resolution display at 60 fps. An extended (DCI-P3) colour space displays true-to-life colours without colour stripes. The Z6III captures the decisive moment, even if it happened before the shutter was released. Super-fast AF calculations enable consistently reliable tracking that won't let go. Subject perception and autofocus work with up to -10 EV for films and photos. 8.0-stop 5-axis image stabilisation built right into the camera and E-VR for video. Focus-area VR stabilises the area around the active focus area. Fully tiltable and rotatable touchscreen with 2,100,000 pixels for a clear, detailed view of the scene from any angle. With a weight of only 760 g (approx.), first-class weather sealing and cold resistance down to -10°C.

Camcorders have increasingly disappeared from the street scene in recent years. This is due to the fact that the devices have faced strong competition from two sides. On the one hand, smartphones now also offer the option of making high-quality 4K recordings. And on the other hand, modern system cameras have now reached a level in terms of videography that they are even used for professional television...

The Nikon Z6lll represents a major advance over its predecessor. The new partially stacked CMOS sensor allows for higher speed and reduced rolling shutter effects with electronic shutter. The new viewfinder is also outstanding. The image quality impressed us with its outstanding noise behaviour...
The Z5ll and performs better in our test than the retro model Zf or the Z6ll, which was cheaper at the time of going to press. Although it doesn't quite come close to the Z6lll in the overall ranking, it currently has the bird AF, which Nikon will probably soon add to the more expensive model via a firmware update.
The Leica SL3-S leaves a very good impression when tested. Small weaknesses in the AI autofocus and the pixel shift mode should be able to be rectified with a firmware update. Whether Leica will tackle this quickly remains to be seen - the SL3's animal autofocus has been in the beta phase for over a year...
