The LINDY 4K DisplayPort adapter cable is designed for use with modern notebooks, PCs, and other devices with a DisplayPort output. It converts DisplayPort signals into HDMI signals that can be displayed on devices with an HDMI input, such as flat-screen TVs, AV receivers, or projectors.

It supports DisplayPort resolutions up to 3840x2160 (YCbCr 4:4:4 12bpc) and is compatible with the DisplayPort 1.2 specification with data rates of 1.62 and 2.7 GBit/s. Additionally, it is compatible with the HDMI 1.4a specification with data rates up to 3.0 GBit/s and 3D 1080p. The cable supports HDMI resolutions up to Ultra HD 4Kx2K and uncompressed audio (LPCM), as well as DTS, Dolby Digital, DTS-HD, and Dolby True HD.
