Product details

Cat6 cables are designed for operating frequencies of up to 250 MHz. They are used for signal transmission at high data rates (1 Gbps). Due to the high signal frequencies, careful installation and assembly are required, especially at the connection points of the wires. The individual wire pairs in Cat6 cables are twisted at different tightness, which further reduces susceptibility to interference compared to Cat5e. Applications for Cat6 cables include voice and data transmission, as well as multimedia and ATM networks. Even more powerful are cables classified as Cat6e (500 MHz) and Cat6a (625 MHz).
