The SLIMpatch cables from the SLIM brand are a solution for various cabling issues. Although visually similar to a flat ribbon cable, the SLIMpatch cables achieve Category 6 specifications and are therefore suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T applications, including Gigabit Ethernet. In fact, three SLIMpatch cables have the diameter of a single standard CAT6 patch cable. Despite their extremely thin design, the cable features twisted pairs. Additionally, it has a wide, flexible strain relief and a practical length print on both ends, supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE according to IEEE802.3af).

Application: Typical applications for SLIMpatch cables:

• Overcrowded server or network cabinets or cable ducts
• Telephone panels or switches with high port densities: with very short cables, you can easily patch from switch to switch or switch to panel without a cable management panel
