Leuchtturm1917 100 Years Bauhaus Special Edition

Awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2019. Wassily Kandinsky, painter, graphic artist, art theorist, and teacher of the Bauhaus, summed it up perfectly when he said, "Everything starts from a dot." Creativity begins in the mind, but to be shared with the world, it must come from the head, through the hand, onto a sheet of paper, and it always starts... with a dot. The first point of contact between thought and paper - a crucial moment.

Clear, reduced forms, functional details, and colors are central components of the Bauhaus philosophy. The design of Leuchtturm1917 products has always adhered to these principles. To celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the Bauhaus, we have created a special edition. The products feature the official anniversary logo of the Bauhaus Cooperation Berlin Dessau Weimar gGmbH.

The notebooks of the "100 Years Bauhaus" special edition present, embossed on the cover, the quote by Wassily Kandinsky: "Everything starts from a dot." On the front endpaper, there is a brief description of the quote's author. The side cut and line printing are color-coordinated. Additionally, the books include all the well-known Leuchtturm1917 details such as a table of contents, page numbers, two bookmarks, and stickers for labeling and archiving. In total, there are four notebooks in Medium (A5) format and one notebook in Master Classic (A4+) format.
