Kartell Take table lamp

Take Table Lamp. It consists of two mirrored halves, separated or united in the middle by a rectangular plate. From one side, it appears as a typical bedside lamp from the 1960s, while at a 90° angle, it reveals itself as a sculptural piece: the centrally positioned rectangle acts as a partition between the two lamp halves, while also providing a frame for the typical bedside lamp shape. A fascinatingly revolutionary lighting design by Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani! In the transparent polycarbonate versions, the shade is pleated on the inside, creating beautiful light reflections when turned on. In contrast, the solid-colored versions emphasize the sculptural form of the lamp.
