Kartell Take table lamp

The Take table lamp consists of two mirror-image halves that are separated or united by a rectangular plate in the middle. From one side, it resembles a typical bedside lamp from the 1960s, while at a 90° angle, it reveals itself as a sculptural piece. The centrally positioned rectangle serves both as a partition for the two lamp halves and as a frame for the classic bedside lamp shape. This is a fascinatingly revolutionary lighting design by Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani! In the transparent polycarbonate versions, the shade is pleated on the inside, creating beautiful light reflections when switched on. In the solid-colored versions, the lamp's shape appears more sculptural.
