Kartell Take

The Take table lamp consists of two mirrored halves, separated or united by a rectangular plate in the middle. From one side, it resembles a typical bedside lamp from the 1960s, while at a 90° angle, it presents itself as a sculptural form. The centrally positioned rectangle serves both as a partition between the two lamp halves and as a frame for the typical bedside lamp shape. This is a fascinatingly revolutionized lighting design by the Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani. In the transparent polycarbonate versions, the shade is pleated on the inside, creating beautiful light reflections when turned on. In the solid-colored versions, the sculptural form of the lamp becomes more prominent.
