The lamp's shape is the creation of Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani. He has been collaborating with the Italian furniture manufacturer since the early 1990s and is responsible for the design of various lamps. Before opening his own design studio in 1991, he studied architecture and design in Milan, completing his studies in 1984. He then worked for several years with designer Michele De Lucchi. During this collaboration, the object "Romeo" was created for the Memphis group, for example.
