The new LP-6 studio monitor is part of Kali's 2nd Wave speaker series. The models in the "2nd Wave" reissue are based on three years of research and development and have been improved in all areas. A new amplifier module provides 12 dB less self-noise, while the input sensitivity has been increased by 3 dB. The tuning has been refined for smoother high-frequency response, and the boundary EQs have been updated for common practical applications. A new feature is the preset for positioning the speakers on desktop stands. Additional improvements include lighter driver membranes for better transient response and an enhanced cabinet design for greater reliability. Proven and unique features such as waveguide technology, bass drivers with oversized magnets, and the sophisticated bass reflex system have, of course, been retained, making the LP-6 2nd Wave studio monitor a reliable tool regardless of genre and budget.
